It All Started With a Rainbow

By LA-jan - December 27, 2016

With most of the holiday decorations and prep done,
worked my last day before vacation, and now with
last minute shopping to do, I headed out into
the crowds.

And, this is what I saw.

Hard to see, but unmistakably a rainbow

and it spanned the sky after we got a heavy rain the night
before

you see, we just almost never see this, mostly because
we almost never see such a rainstorm, I'm sure.
But, I felt it was magical!
Once crowds braved and shopping done, I headed back to finish
the baking.

Not pretty Christmas cookies, but yummy ones to pack in gift boxes.
Taylor helped and tested, just to make sure!

This year, Eileen and Marty were hosting the Pizza Christmas Eve!

The crowd was merry!

Having recently remodeled their kitchen, the pizza making was a dream!
The kitchen was so much more spacious and we certainly
made full use of the space!

It quickly became all hands on deck!

The pizzas came out. First come, first serve!

the pizzas came out for hours

and everyone took a turn getting involved

between creating a pizza and savoring its deliciousness!

and the sides were amazing and creative as well

right down to the last dessert!

Thanks to everyone! We partied till the whee hours of the morning!

(sorry for the poor quality of the phone pics ;-/ )

Next up, Christmas Day!
