Just a few pictures of Easter. We decided to stay home and just

have a few over for early dinner.

Terry cooked a wonderful dinner

 and his mom and Maureen and Perri joined us.

We all tried to pitch in a bit, but Terry had it all under control!

Ribs, ham, mashed potatoes, asparagus and glazed carrots

rounded out the meal!

My blooming orchid was on display.

Terry and his mom get settled at the table,

and so did the others!

Foods on!

and it was delicious.

After an egg hunt and some time outdoors

we ended with some coffee and pecan rolls!

It was a very Happy Easter!

Marching again!

Yes, once again, feeling the resist bug growing in our bellies,

we ready our messages,

and head on downtown to Los Angeles!
At Pershing Square, the entrance, was chalked into
a beautiful Science picture by someone.
We braved the 90 degree heatwave and the sun
was so blinding, many of these pictures were taken blinded by
the intense sun. At 9AM!

And we were an hour and a half before the speakers began!

Standing in the heat, we shaded ourselves with our signs.
There were many impressive ones!








This young lady made hers right there waiting for speakers!



Turned out really great!

The speakers were inspirational, some were motivational,
some humorous. The author of "Hidden Figures" was especially
good!

And then we marched the several blocks to City Hall.

We found a very small patch of shade and looked around
as we ran out of water.

It was time to call it a day!


Eileen and I texted a few messages. She had forgotten about the March and
had made plans to hike Potato Mountain. "Make your sign and carry it up the
mountain"  I had told her the night before.
And she did.




They had their own March for Science up Potato Mountain!!

Thought I would update to a new format for this blog.

Please bear with me as I try out new things and learn
